A leading company in sustainable energy solutions is expanding its operations across East Africa. Specializing in solar energy storage systems, residential ESS, commercial & industrial ESS, and technical support services, the organization is committed to powering communities with clean, reliable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for solar & energy storage products.
- Design systems based on customer needs, site conditions, and budgets.
- Prepare technical documentation including load analysis, sizing, SLDs, BOMs, and layouts.
- Support sales teams with site surveys, proposals, and tender processes.
- Train local installers, EPC partners, and distributors.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, customer training, and after-sales support.
- Establish and maintain service processes and standards.
- Communicate feedback and requirements to headquarters.
- Evaluate and develop local technical partners.
Candidate Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Energy, Electromechanical, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in solar systems, energy storage, EPC projects, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverters, batteries, BMS, and electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in Excel; AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope experience is an advantage.
- Experience in residential, hybrid, C&I solar projects, mini-grids, or off-grid systems preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; Swahili is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively within East Africa.
- Customer-focused, responsible, and able to deliver under pressure.
- Open to using AI tools and digital platforms for efficiency.
