Premier logistics company, is seeking to recruit a Line Quality Controller. The company specializes in world-class logistics solutions for perishables—including fresh-cut flowers, herbs, cuttings, produce, and fruits—across key international trade lanes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an assigned production line in the bouquet-making facility while balancing output targets with strict quality standards.
- Perform real-time online and finished product quality inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and SOPs.
- Conduct intake quality checks, temperature monitoring, post-harvest solution verification, and packaging material inspections.
Key Competencies
- Proven experience in coordinating supply chain activities, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Holder of a bachelor's degree/diploma in Business, Quality Control, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in sales and marketing, and has thorough product (flowers) knowledge.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
- Must be comfortable explaining complex technical and procedural requirements in a straightforward manner.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint®, Outlook and others).
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
