A company in Nairobi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our technology function. This is a full-time position based in Nairobi, Kenya, ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, high integrity, and a results-oriented mindset. The successful candidate will drive digital transformation and ensure robust, secure IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
- Ensure cybersecurity and data protection across all platforms
- Oversee hardware, software, and IT asset management
- Lead IT projects and digital transformation initiatives
- Provide technical support and resolve escalated IT issues
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, and budgets
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management
- Certifications (CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft suite, ITIL, Cybersecurity) are an advantage
- Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud technologies, and business systems
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
