The Embassy of Peru in Kenya is opening a position of Administrative Assistant under a fixed-term contract modality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in administrative tasks such as accounting, recordkeeping, filing and suppliers' coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Video conferencing tools.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Swahili is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in international organizations and/or diplomatic missions is desirable.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Kenya at the time of application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Embassy agenda and coordinate meetings and hearings.
  • Manage phone calls, correspondence and institutional communications.
  • Prepare draft letters, notes and administrative documents.
  • Organize official trips, reservations and logistical aspects.
  • Support in the organization of diplomatic, cultural and economic promotion events.
  • Monitor the state of conservation of the official residence, identifying preventive and corrective maintenance needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with the needs of the Embassy.
