There is no ban for Somali visitors, Lake Naivasha Resort says
The resort's management reiterated its commitment to welcoming visitors from all backgrounds

Lake Naivasha Resort has distanced itself from online reports alleging that it has barred Somalis from visiting the recreation facility.
In a statement, the resort disassociated itself from remarks made by a security guard who claimed he had been instructed by management not to admit Somalis to the resort, one of the most exclusive Hotels in Naivasha.
In a video circulating online, recorded by a visitor who said he was denied entry because he is Somali, the security guard is heard stating that the directive was issued by management following alleged misconduct by individuals said to be Somali visitors.
“Lake Naivasha Resort has noted with concern a recent video shared on social media regarding a guest's experience at our gate. The remarks allegedly made at the gate do not reflect the values, standards, or official position of Lake Naivasha Resort,” the statement read in part.
“Our team is currently reviewing the incident with the contracted security provider. Our resort maintains standard guest access procedures to protect the comfort, privacy, safety, and overall experience of all our guests,” the statement added.
