The International University of Africa (IUA), based in Sudan, has announced a wide array of fully funded scholarship opportunities for Kenyan students seeking to pursue higher education at undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels.

The scholarship programme is being offered through a partnership involving the university, the Mombasa County Government and the Elimu Scholarship Scheme, with the aim of expanding access to quality higher education.

The university has a long-standing history of supporting Kenyan students through international scholarship programmes. Over the years, hundreds of Kenyan graduates from the institution have gone on to serve in various sectors, including education, healthcare, public service, business, religious leadership and community development.

Under the latest scholarship initiative, successful applicants will benefit from comprehensive financial support covering tuition fees, accommodation and meals.

The programme offers study opportunities across a wide range of disciplines, including health sciences, Shariah and law, engineering, computing and information technology, agriculture, economics and management, communication and media studies, as well as languages and humanities.

The scholarship is open to qualified Kenyan students who have attained a minimum KCSE grade of C+ and possess a valid passport. Applicants seeking admission programmes such as medicine and engineering must have scored at least a B+ in their KCSE examinations.

Interested applicants can obtain further information and application details by contacting 0718 038 075 or 0716 148 341, or by visiting the Mombasa County Government Education Offices located on the fourth floor of Bima Towers in Mombasa.

The application deadline is July 10, 2026.
